outfit. plissee, please!

Trends kommen und gehen. 

Ein Trend, der mich für eine lange Zeit noch begeistern wird, ist der Plisseerock. Ein Plisseerock wird von künstlich hergestellten Falten definiert und kann heutzutage in allen möglichen Farben und Mustern erworben werden. Sein Ursprung hatte der Rock jedoch als Inbegriff der Biederkeit in den 1980er Jahren. 
Was mich den dem Rock fasziniert, ist das Gefühl von Vergangenheit. Ich mag es, mir verschiedene Dekaden anzusehen und mich von der alten Mode inspirieren zu lassen. Ein Plisseerock gibt das Gefühl von Tradition. Als Mode-Regel-Brecherin ist das natürlich ein gefundenes Fressen für mich, diese Tradition mit meiner eigenen Interpretation von Stil zu kombinieren.

A trend that will continue to inspire me for a long time is the pleated skirt. A pleated skirt is defined by man-made pleats and can now be purchased in all sorts of colors and patterns. The skirt had its origin as the epitome of blandness in the 1980s.

What fascinates me about rock is the feeling of the past. I like to look at different decades and get inspired by the old fashion. A pleated skirt gives the feeling of tradition. Of course, as a fashion-rule-breaker, for me is a way to combine that tradition with my own interpretation of style.

Das Modell, das ich heute anhabe, was ein Spontaneinkauf bei H&M. Ich bin tendenziell niemand, der auf gedeckte Farben setzt, aber die roströtliche Farbe mit einem leichten metallischen Glanz hat mich doch schnell begeistert. Meine anfängliche Skepsis, dass der Rock unvorteilhaft direkt auf die Mitte meiner Waden fällt, und mich klein und dick aussehen lässt, wurde zum Glück nicht Realität. 
Die Kombination aus Rock mit Crop-Top ist nicht bahnbrechend, aber ich mag das Gefühl, dass das Outfit mir gab. Ich fühlte mich leicht und unbeschwert.

The model that I chose today, what a spontaneous purchase at H&M. I tend not to be someone who likes muted colours, however the rust-red color with a slight metallic sheen has quickly inspired me. My initial skepticism that the skirt falls unfavorably right on the middle of my calves, and makes me look small and fat, was fortunately not a reality.

The combination of skirt with crop top is not groundbreaking, but I like the feeling that the outfit gave me. I felt light and carefree.

Der Rest des Outfits besteht aus neuen Teilen, die sich angesammelt haben. Die Loafer von Zara waren schon länger in meinem Blickfeld. Loafer gefallen mit besonders, da sie jedem Outfit einen androgynen Touch geben. Es geht nichts über geschlechtsübergreifende Mode.

Da ich schon länger einen Rucksack haben wollte, beschloss ich, einfach mal auf Gut Glück diesen hier bei Zalando zu bestellen. Es hat sich herausgestellt, dass die Größe perfekt ist. Ich kann ich außerdem halt Handtasche und Rücksack tragen. 

Die Accessoires wiederum sind alle schon etwas älter. Die Ohrringe sind H&M, die Kette ein alter Liebling von Stella & Dot und die Sonnenbrille nach wie vor ein sehr guter Fund von Monki.

The rest of the outfit consists of new parts that have collected along the way. The loafers by Zara had been stuck in my mind for some time. Loafers are particularly appealing as they add an androgynous touch to any outfit. There is nothing like cross-gender fashion.

Since I wanted to have a backpack for a while, I decided to just order this one by Call It Spring. It turns out that the size is perfect. I can also carry handbag and backpack.

The accessories are all a bit older. The earrings are H&M, the necklace is an old favorite of Stella&Dot and the sunglasses are still a very good find from Monki.
