Right now I am struggling with my blog. I don't really see a point with all of it.
I look at a lot of famous bloggers - commonly known as 'influencers' - and well, I am not like that. I don't mean just body or face wise. I mean style wise. My personal style doesn't match the mainstream fashion idea. I don't like wearing a checked blazer with blue vintage cut jeans and a white t-shirt. I like wearing crazier things. Things that you see and think "oh my that's a lot!".
Momentan hapere ich mit meinem Blog. Ich sehe darin keinen wirklichen Sinn.
Ich sehe mir einige der berühmten Blogger - sogenannte "Influencer" - und na ja, so bin ich nicht. Ich meine nicht nur körperlich oder durch die Gesichtsmerkmale. Ich meine Stilweise. Mein persönlicher Stil passt nicht mit dem Mainstream Modeideal zusammen. Ich trage nicht gerne karierte Blazer mit blauen Vintagejeans und einem weißen T-Shirt. Ich bin eher der Typ, der verrückte Klamotten anzieht. Klamotten, die man sieht und denkt "Oh, das ist aber viel!"
The next thing is, I don't wear many high-end labels. I don't have a designer bag or generally expensive clothes. I cannot buy new clothes worth a couple of hundred euros each month. I have a budget that I cannot overthrow like that.
I don't blog full-time, I have a 9-to-5 job with school on the side. I don't want to update my blog everyday, I don't have the time nor energy for that.
Ein weiterer Punkt ist, ich trage keine hochpreisigen Marken. Ich habe keine Designertasche oder sonstige teure Klamotten. Ich kann nicht jeden Monat mehrere Hundert Euro für Neues ausgeben. Ich muss mich an ein Budget halten.
Ich blogge nicht Vollzeit. Ich bin ganztägig im Büro tätig und habe nebenher noch Schule. Ich will nicht jeden Tag neue Posts veröffentlichen, ich habe weder die Zeit noch die Energie dazu.
That being said, I love when I can put up a new blogpost.
I love what's behind of getting a blogpost ready. The picture-taking process. Finding the angles I like. How to bring out details.
I love the editing process. The filter adding and finding fitting textures.
Trotz dieses Hintergrundes liebe ich es, einen neuen Beitrag herauszubringen.
Ich liebe alles, was damit zu tun hat. Die Bilder zu schießen. Die richtigen Winkel zu finden. Wie man Details hervorbringt.
Ich mag auch den Bearbeitungsprozess. Die Filter und Texturen zu finden.
For this post I knew I wanted to feature this coat. It was gifted to me from one of my mum's patients. The moment I tried it on I knew that the coat and I are meant to be. It fits like a clove. And the black fake fur with the red fabric is just the amount of extravagance everyone need's in their life.
Ich wusste, dass ich diesen Mantel in diesem Post zeigen wolle. Er war ein Geschenk von einer Patientin meiner Mutter. Als ich ihn anprobierte, wusste ich, dass das mein Mantel war. Er passt wie angegossen. Und die Mischung des schwarzen Kunstfells und des roten Materials ist genau der Grad von Extravaganz, die jeder in seinem Leben braucht.
The rest of the outfit is me trying to present my favourite summer dress during winter time. It's the cherry wrap dress one which I featured in a summer outfit post. I had also shown the sweater before.
And now to the second star of the outfit - the shoes. I fell in love with them the moment I saw them on ASOS. Unfortunately they were too expensive for me to buy right away. So I remained patient and fate actually was on my side on this one. They went on sale and I added them faster to my cart than anything ever before.
Das restliche Outfit ist ein Versuch meinerseits, mein Lieblingssommerkleid im Winter zu präsentieren. Es ist das Wickelkleid mit Kirschen, welches ich schon einmal auf meinem Blog präsentiert habe. Den Pullover hatte ich auch schon einmal gezeigt.Und nun der zweite Star des Looks - die Schuhe. Ich hatte mich in dem Moment in sie verliebt, als ich sie sah. Leider waren sie zu teuer, als dass ich sie direkt kaufen konnte. Also übte ich mich in Geduld und das Schicksal spielte mir wirklich in die Karten. Sie wurden reduziert und ich hatte noch nie zuvor etwas schneller in meine Einkaufstasche geklickt.
